Lemon Garlic Shrimp


1 ½ pounds peeled large shrimp (10-15ct.)
1 stick butter
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 small shallot, minced
Pinch parsley


Melt butter and add all but shrimp let sit at least 30 minutes. Can be made days in advance and refrigerated. Skewer shrimp and brush with butter mixture. Grill or broil with medium high heat for 6 to 8 minutes. Baste frequently and flip half way through
* for easy to flip kabobs use 2 skewers running parallel with an inch between them and inserted perpendicular to straitened shrimp. (ends up looking like a ladder).
